In a company that has grown from 18k to 50k homes in just 8 years, a branded PDF is outdated the moment it’s exported. There was a demand for creating a single living source of truth that empowers employees.

THE PROBLEM: The friction of a PDF

The PDF version of our guidelines wasn’t searchable, didn’t meet WCAG color contrast requirements, and was difficult for external vendors to use.

The brand assets were also scattered across local and online drives and email threads, leading people to use old logos, email signatures, imagery, and templates.

THE EXECUTION: Building the infrastructure

Transitioned from PDF to Frontify’s interactive modules. This involved auditing every asset to ensure they are optimized for digital and print use.

Developing a robust DAM system through the strategic categorization of property, logo, and icon libraries. We are utilizing AI to automate keyword tagging and descriptions, creating a self-service hub for internal teams to access brand standards while maintaining backend control for seamless asset versioning

THE RESULT: Autonomy and velocity

  • Self-Service Culture: The days of design acting as a bottleneck are over. By removing the “gatekeeper” model, employees can now quickly access verified logos and templates independently. This shift has transformed the culture from searching for files to instant, autonomous self-service.
  • Global Consistency: Every touchpoint—from a property sign in Atlanta to a social post in Indianapolis—now pulls from the same verified source.
  • Reduced Design Debt: By centralizing assets, the design team was freed from “file retrieval” tasks and could focus on high-impact creative work.
